There is a difference between a brick slip that is cut from a traditional brick and one that is purpose-made from the start.

Behind every panel in this album sits stone wool that has to do two jobs at once: hit the U-value and stay non-combustible. Get the thickness wrong and the cavity closes up, ventilation stops and moisture stays where it lands.
