⚠️ Budget Refurbishment Warning ⚠️

We’ve done a full refurbishment of a 2-bed ground floor flat, delivered on what can only be described as a very ambitious budget.

The brief was simple: refurbish fast, spend as little as possible, and sell quickly. That meant one single 6-yard skip for an entire flat, the cheapest materials available, some second-hand items, and — just to keep things interesting — no electricity on site, as the supply had been disconnected.

Despite these constraints, the works were completed within the agreed scope and budget.

A gentle reminder for buyers (and sellers):
Not all refurbishments are created equal. A fresh coat of paint can hide a lot, and when corners are pushed too hard, the end result reflects that. Always carry out a proper inspection before purchasing — because sometimes what you’re seeing isn’t craftsmanship, it’s cost control.

And for the record: when budgets are this tight, outcomes are defined by circumstances — not by the builder.
