There is always a way !

Customer had a faulty flush valve so while they was waiting they used a simple but effective way to use the flush still

The next day the flush valve was replaced,back to using the push button 👍

This bathroom floor is getting replaced so I was called to remove the toilet and basin.

Toilet and basin was removed and outlets capped off

After the floor was layed I was called to refit.

I replaced the pan connector for a new high quality mcalpine one which has a strap to make sure it’s fully sealed.

I also changed the flexi hose and push fit elbow in my opinion it’s all out and not going to be removed for a long time so it’s best practice to replace

🚿 HOT AND COLD THE WRONG WAY ROUND? NOT A PROBLEM! 🔧

This customer moved into their home a few years ago, but the shower had never worked! 😳

They’d already had a plumber out who tried replacing the mixer, but unfortunately, that didn’t solve the problem.

They were told the only option was to remove the tiles and alter the pipework so the hot and cold supplies were the correct way round.

Now, that would be the proper way to rectify the pipework… BUT there is another option! 👀

I’d heard about reversed-inlet shower mixers designed for situations where the hot and cold pipes have been connected the wrong way round, so I did some digging and managed to find one!

✅ Fitted it, tested it, and it worked perfectly! 🙌

Happy customer, working shower, and no need to rip the tiles off! 🎉

The mixer is only available as the bar valve, so I showed the customer this matching shower kit, which works brilliantly with it.

Another problem solved! 💪

Just needed a few millimetres lower !

Customer called to check a dripping toilet ,I will probably end up cutting the lid to get it out.

🚨A small leak over time has destroyed the back of the cupboard and the shelf.🚨

Leaking toilet ,replaced it all now the customer has a leak free toilet which is also seat back to the wall

2nd call within 1hour of each other, we have all been there on the weekend doing diy.

Lucky the customer knew where and how to turn there water off.

Damaged pipe cut out and repaired 👍

With the cold weather coming this faulty tap needed an upgrade

Here’s is what is wrong

1️⃣ Exposed copper outside -could bust
2️⃣ Copper going though the wall unprotected
3️⃣ Hole not sealed inside
4️⃣ Just looks dated

Also a reminder when your not using it isolate it in the colder weather isolate it
