A project we completed earlier in the summer.

Using a naturalistic planting scheme and characterful clay pavers we created a warm and intimate space to enjoy a glass of w**e or morning coffee.

With the rest of the garden in full sun for most of the day, it was important for our clients to have a shady spot to relax with friends and unwind. The sun sail works perfectly in this scenario, creating shelter from the sun and rain without the dominating structure of a pergola.

A hidden piece of history, brought back to life!

This front garden refurbishment had a special surprise waiting beneath the old block paving

Hidden underneath was a beautiful traditional Victorian tiled pathway, which we carefully uncovered and fully restored to its former glory!

By bringing this original feature back to life, we’ve given the front garden a fresh new look while preserving the character and charm of the property. The pathway is complimented by tumbled mint sandstone paving and a bespoke bullnosed entrance step.

Proof that sometimes the best features are the ones already there!

Who says practical has to be ugly? 🌿

The team installed cedar cladding, designed to provide extra privacy and security for the garden, while still enhancing the overall look of the space. The natural warmth and character of cedar create a feature that feels both contemporary and timeless.

This job proves that functional solutions can add just as much value aesthetically as they do practically.

The best gardens often begin with trust in the process. For this project, the client gave us the freedom to shape the vision — combining thoughtful planting areas with carefully built steps to create a space that feels balanced, natural, and connected.

From the layout through to the finishing details, every element was designed to work seamlessly within the garden, and the end result speaks for itself.

There is something timeless about a well-designed kitchen garden. The natural texture of timber sleepers, the structure of raised planting beds, and the balance between productive planting and soft greenery all work together to create a space that feels both practical and beautifully settled within the garden.

Projects like this are never simply about building raised beds. They are about creating gardens that invite you to slow down, grow, and enjoy the changing seasons. Careful layouts, natural materials, and attention to proportion make all the difference.

At PJC Landscapes, we take pride in bringing that level of detail and craftsmanship to gardens across Hayes and the surrounding areas.

Sometimes it’s the finishing touches that make all the difference

Our team stepped in to complete the gravel section of this kitchen garden, bringing everything together for a clean, polished look. A simple addition, but it really tops off the whole space beautifully.
