A little gesture can make a big difference this Christmas.

This festive season, Rowland Brothers and the Rowland Brothers Foundation are coming together to spread a little Christmas joy to families and individuals in our local community who may be facing difficult times.

We’re collecting unopened Advent calendars, which will be donated to local foodbanks and churches across South London.

If you’re able to, we’d be incredibly grateful if you could pick up an extra Advent calendar during your next shop and drop it off at one of our participating branches.

A meaningful funeral can start with a blank canvas.

When arranging a funeral, it can be difficult to know what is possible, particularly at a time when there is already so much to process.

But a farewell doesn’t have to be defined by what has always been done. With the right guidance, families can explore different ideas, make personal choices and create a service that genuinely reflects the person they are remembering.

Yes. Livestreaming funerals became much more widely used
during the Covid-19 pandemic, when restrictions meant many
family members and friends were unable to attend services in
person. Since then, it has remained a valuable option for
families, particularly when loved ones live overseas or are unable to travel.

A livestream allows people to watch the funeral online as it
takes place, usually through a private link that can be shared
with family and friends ahead of the service.

At Rowland Brothers, we offer professional livestreaming at the venue of your choice, allowing family and friends who are unable to attend in person to be part of the service wherever they may be.

We can also discuss bespoke filming and livestreaming options to capture the entire funeral journey. Whether the service takes place at one of our Celebration of Life venues, a natural burial ground, or involves filming the funeral procession and cortege, we can create a sensitive and beautifully produced recording that can be treasured as a lasting and meaningful keepsake.

A funeral doesn’t have to follow a set formula.

The most meaningful farewells are often those that reflect the person being remembered, their personality, their relationships and the things that made them who they were.

For Freddie’s family, the day became an opportunity to celebrate him in a way that felt completely their own, filled with the details and decisions that reflected who he was.

For many of us, our pets are part of the family.

When saying goodbye to someone they shared their life with, having a much-loved dog present can bring an enormous amount of comfort and make the service feel even more personal.

Where the venue allows and it feels right for the family, dogs are welcome to be part of a funeral arranged with Rowland Brothers.

Whether they sit quietly alongside family members or simply provide a familiar presence on an emotional day, we understand how meaningful their inclusion can be.

Every family is different, which is why we’ll always do our best to accommodate the people, and pets, that mattered to your loved one.

On Saturday 26th September, we came together for the London Bridges Walk, completing 7.1 miles through London in support of .

It was a really special day and we’d like to say a huge thank you to everyone who walked alongside us, supported us and donated. Every mile walked and every donation made helps the Foundation continue to be there for people at a time when they may need support the most.

Led by Justine, the Rowland Brothers Foundation provides counselling, support groups, walks and events for people experiencing bereavement, creating opportunities to talk, connect with others and feel supported through grief.

We’re incredibly grateful to everyone who played a part in the day and continues to support the work of the Foundation.

A brilliant result for our local team.

Congratulations to Warlingham RFC on an incredible 101–0 victory over Woking.

Rowland Brothers is proud to sponsor Warlingham RFC and support a club that plays such an important part in our local community. Having served families in Warlingham and the surrounding areas for generations, supporting local clubs, organisations and the people behind them is something that means a great deal to us.
