In our latest Insight paper, Urban Lessons from the Andes, Chapman Taylor's Antonio Treglia explores how some of South America's most dynamic cities have responded to challenging topography, rapid urbanisation, and social inequality through innovative approaches to connectivity, public space, and community-led development.

Drawing on observations from cities across the Andean region, the paper examines how transport infrastructure, mixed-use neighbourhoods and people-focused public spaces can help create more inclusive, resilient, and liveable urban environments.

A new benchmark for premium living has been unveiled in Baku.

Designed by Chapman Taylor, Botanica Residence brings together the energy of city living and the wellbeing benefits of a nature-focused lifestyle. Located adjacent to Baku's Central Botanical Garden, the development has been carefully conceived to create a healthier, greener, and more balanced way of living in the heart of the city.

Developed by PMD Group and Kensington, the project comprises four residential buildings containing 359 premium apartments and four penthouses.

We are proud to have contributed to a project that places wellbeing, sustainability, and quality of life at the heart of its design.

We were delighted to receive the “Best New Build Cinema Award” for Kinopolis HafenCity Cinema at the ICTA EMEA Awards 2025–2026 ceremony held in Barcelona on 21 June.

Picking up the Award was our client, Dr Gregory Thiele of Kinopolis, together with Chapman Taylor Group Board Director Ruprecht Melder, and Chapman Taylor Leisure Director David Wallace.

Located in Hamburg's HafenCity district, Kinopolis HafenCity Cinema has established a new benchmark for cinema design, combining state-of-the-art technology, exceptional customer experience and striking contemporary architecture. The award recognises the project's success in creating an outstanding entertainment destination within one of Europe's most significant urban regeneration areas.

Chapman Taylor will be participating in the Rail Station Development and Regeneration 2026 Conference in London on June 30th.

As rail infrastructure continues to play a pivotal role in shaping cities and communities, the event will bring together industry leaders to explore how stations can act as catalysts for regeneration, connectivity, and sustainable urban growth.

Transportation Director Luke Kendall will deliver a presentation titled “Practical approaches to designing stations as gateways for customers, residents, and businesses”, taking place from 14:25 to 14:50.

His session will examine how station design is evolving to meet the needs of modern communities, asking: What does good station design look like today? The presentation will explore the facilities and amenities that can enhance functionality while supporting leisure and retail growth, alongside strategies for maximising existing infrastructure and demonstrating how station upgrades can increase value, attractiveness, and long-term economic impact.

The Shaneng Smart Industry Building has officially completed in Haikou’s Jiangdong New District, marking a significant addition to one of China’s most ambitious innovation and technology hubs.

Designed by Chapman Taylor, the project combines flexible workplace environments, research and development facilities, and collaborative spaces within a contemporary architectural form inspired by technology, sustainability and the region’s tropical climate. The building has been designed to support innovation-led businesses while creating a high-quality working environment that promotes wellbeing, connectivity and productivity.

We are delighted that Chapman Taylor and Scott.Weber Workspace have won a prestigious Kanceláře Roku (Office of the Year) 2026 Award in the Hub & Co-Working category for the fit-out of the Scott.Weber workspace at Náměstí Republiky 7 in Prague.

The award recognises the transformation of one of Prague’s most prominent historic buildings into a flagship flexible workspace destination, combining contemporary workplace design with the careful preservation of the building’s architectural heritage.

Spanning 4,630m², the project provides 90 private offices, 17 meeting rooms, an indoor atrium, roof terraces, a conservatory and a range of event spaces designed to support collaboration, innovation and community.
