With so many major sporting events taking place over the past few weeks, including the FIFA World Cup, Wimbledon, Women's T20 World Cup and the Formula 1 British Grand Prix, our focus on reporting the results of this year’s Lift Industry Karting Challenge is later than usual.
The 34th Annual Lift Industry Karting Challenge took place on Saturday, June 20th at the International Buckmore Park Kart circuit in Chatham, Kent, with 23 highly competitive karting teams.
Jackson had nine people competing across the two teams, participating in the challenge as ‘The Cable Snappers’ and ‘The Counterweights’.
In the qualifying rounds, The Cable Snappers’ efforts placed them in Pole position 2, whilst The Counterweights came in at Pole position 23. The final results of the day placed The Cable Snappers in position 9, having covered 268 laps against the winners, who had achieved 270 laps. The Counterweights finished at position 19.
A great day was had by all of the participants and the many supporters who were there on the day.
