Full loft conversion completed here, now a main bedroom with its own ensuite.

We opened the space right up to keep it feeling light and easy to use, added the rooflight to bring in more natural light, and kept the layout simple so everything flows properly.

Ensuite fitted with herringbone tiling, new flooring throughout, and finishes that all tie in together without trying too hard.

It’s not about overdoing it, just doing it properly so the space works how it should.

A lot going on in this one, but it all comes down to using the space properly.

We’ve taken the full run of the eaves and built it out into bespoke wardrobes that follow the roofline exactly — nothing boxed off, nothing wasted. The mix of open shelving and closed sections keeps it practical, and the darker finish inside adds a bit of contrast rather than it all just blending into one.

Integrated lighting inside each section as well, so it’s not just for show — you can actually see and use everything properly.

It’s a simple idea, but the finish and detail are what make it. Everything lines up, everything fits how it should, and it just works with the shape of the room instead of fighting it.

Loft Tranformation Update👷‍♂️

The structure is fully taking shape now the roof prepped, dormer formed, and tiling well underway.

You can really start to see how this space is coming together from the outside, with the new dormer blending seamlessly into the existing roofline.

PROJECT: SURBITON LOFT 🏡🎥

Following on from our last post, here’s a full video walkthrough of this completed loft conversion.

This project has come together beautifully, from the structural work right through to the final finishes. The rooflight brings in plenty of natural light, while the detailed wallpaper, panelling and decorative mouldings add that extra level of character and quality to the space.

It’s always great to see a project like this go from start to finish, and this one is a perfect example of how thoughtful design and attention to detail can completely transform a home.
