MDiG is busy at a job site today, setting up Xwatch Safety Solutions and Leica Geosystems part of Hexagon systems on a 35-ton Hitachi Construction Machinery UK. They're installing a 3D avoidance zone system, an essential safety feature that works both above and below ground. It's designed to guard against bridge strikes, utility strikes, it can be programmed to stop the machine from hitting anything outside of its working parameters.
