"Should we choose bold finishes or keep things neutral?"
This is one of our most asked questions in Discovery Meetings. The real answer is that there is a better question to ask.
What matters is whether the space feels true to you, and whether the decisions behind it are supporting the way you actually live.
A bold space will lose its appeal very quickly if the layout is awkward, the storage is lacking, or the practical details have not been properly resolved. In the same way, a neutral space can feel flat if it came from hesitation rather than from what you genuinely love.
The goal is not to be bold for the sake of it, and it is not to stay neutral because it feels safer. The goal is to create a space that reflects your taste, works beautifully day to day, and still feels right years from now.
If your style is calm and minimal, that can be exactly right. If you are drawn to more colour, contrast, or personality, that can be exactly right too. What matters is that the design is honest, well-guided, and built around choices that will last.
