πŸ¦‹πŸŒΌ A gentle start to the week.

While walking through a wildflower meadow recently, I spotted this beautiful Common Blue butterfly feeding amongst the flowers.

Moments like these are a reminder that even small areas of habitat can support an incredible amount of life. Sometimes it's worth slowing down and taking a few moments to notice what's happening around us.
Wishing everyone a good week ahead.

🌿 A quick early-morning look around before the gates opened!

It was great to see the show waking up and to catch some fantastic displays before the crowds arrived. A particular highlight was seeing the work of and .

🌸 Two of my favourite peonies in the garden right now. 🌸

June is always a special month for peonies, and these two have been putting on an incredible display over the past few weeks.

One of the things I love most about gardening is that the garden is never quite the same from one day to the next. A plant you've walked past dozens of times can suddenly stop you in your tracks when it reaches its peak.

A small moment of seasonal beauty that felt worth sharing. 🌿✨

Do you have a favourite peony variety?

🌿 Yesterday I finally visited garden, designed by Tom Stuart-Smith.

I've admired the project for a long time and it was fascinating to experience it in person. What struck me most was how naturally the planting sits alongside the gallery's contemporary architecture, creating a landscape that feels both calm and connected to its surroundings.

The garden is full of subtle details, from carefully composed planting combinations to the way views are framed through the space. It's a great example of how planting can soften architecture while still retaining a strong sense of place.

A lovely garden to spend an afternoon exploring and one I'll certainly visit again

Have you visited The Hepworth Garden? 🌱

🌺 A bright colourful end to the week! ✨

Following my visit to a wildflower meadow last week, I was tipped off about a nearby poppy field and thought it was too good an opportunity to miss.

I visited this morning and was greeted by a spectacular display of colour. Seeing thousands of poppies in full flower, glowing in the sunshine, was a wonderful way to start the day and finish the week.

Sometimes it's the simplest things β€” a field of flowers, a sunny morning and a chance to slow down for a while β€” that leave the biggest impression 🌿❀️

Wishing everyone a colourful weekend ahead.

🌼🌿 After a busy few weeks at the Chelsea Flower Show, it was nice to slow down and spend some time at Fosters Green wildflower meadow.

There's something restorative about spaces like this. Away from the pace of projects and deadlines, it's an opportunity to pause, look more closely and appreciate the incredible diversity of plants and wildlife around us.

One of the things I love about meadows is that the more time you spend exploring, the more you discover πŸπŸ¦‹πŸŒΎ

A timely reminder that sometimes the best inspiration comes from simply slowing down and spending time in nature πŸ’š

Final day at the Chelsea Flower Show 🌿

Before the show comes to a close, I wanted to share a few of my favourite plants from our Bringing Nature Home exhibit for plant health team with

One of the joys of designing planting for is seeing how different textures, forms and colours come together to create atmosphere β€” but also how planting can support biodiversity and encourage people to engage more closely with nature.

It’s been a fantastic week of conversations, inspiration and connection around gardens and wildlife 🌱

A huge thank you to everyone who visited the exhibit and spent time exploring the space.

Walk around our Bringing Nature Home exhibit for Science team at the Chelsea Flower Show 🌿

The display explores how gardens of all sizes can help support biodiversity β€” from planting choices and habitat features to the simple act of observing and recording the wildlife around us.

Designed as a series of immersive planting spaces, the exhibit encourages visitors to look more closely at the relationship between gardens, people and nature 🌱

A huge thank you to and the rest of the plant health RHS Science team and everyone involved in bringing the project to life at Chelsea this week.

🌿 A small glimpse of the planting at RHS Chelsea 🌿

The planting for our Bringing Nature Home exhibit is beginning to come together at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show.

Even small sections of planting can say a great deal β€” layers of foliage and texture working together to create habitats and encourage biodiversity within gardens of all sizes.

This year’s exhibit with the RHS Science team explores how simple planting choices and garden features can help support nature at home, while also creating beautiful and engaging spaces for people 🌿

More to come on over the next few days when the show opens 🀩

🌿 Starting at Rhs Chelsea Flower Show 2026 🌿

A busy and inspiring start to our time at Chelsea, and great to be making a start on Bringing Nature Home display.

It’s so exciting to see plans coming alive and very pleased to be working with the RHS Plant Health team and to promote biodiversity in gardens.

Looking forward to seeing the display develop and also seeing colleagues and friends with so much creativity and craftsmanship on display once again 🌿
