Planning Submitted | Walthamstow
We are pleased to have submitted planning for the ground floor extension and refurbishment of an end of terrace home in Waltham Forest. The proposals are articulated by a chamfered, lime rendered, parapet sitting above a stone brick plinth. The soffit offers shade and protection from the elements allowing openness to the garden throughout the seasons. The kitchen straddles between the original building line and extension, maximising the efficiency of the layout within a smaller footprint and allowing for more garden to be retained. A simple palette of limestone, timber and lime render allows an harmonious flow between interior and exterior with large sliding partitions and timber ceilings subtly forming thresholds between the habitable spaces. The plan is intended to be open but adaptive.
