Brickwork shaped by light.

Deep reveals and projecting brick details bring rhythm and texture to this contemporary home, casting shadows that shift throughout the day. Warm brick tones and generous glazing connect the architecture with the garden.

Considered materials. Carefully resolved details. Homes with character.

Iconic additions. Transformative architecture.

A carefully conceived addition can change the way an entire home is experienced—bringing daylight deep into its rooms, opening views to the garden and creating new spaces for everyday life.

At Gregory Phillips Architects, we design contemporary additions that give existing houses a bold new chapter while respecting their original character. Strong geometry, generous glazing and carefully considered materials bring architecture, interiors and landscape together.

Each addition is individual. The ambition is always the same: to make the whole home remarkable.

A home designed for an artist, with art at its heart.

At this house by Gregory Phillips Architects, paintings, sculpture and everyday life share the same space. Quiet architectural lines give colour and texture room to speak, while generous openings connect the interior to the garden.

A personal home that reflects the creativity of its owner—and the pleasure of living with art.

Modern architecture, rooted in its landscape.

Soft planting and sculpted greenery bring depth and texture to the clean lines of the house. Reflections of trees animate the glazing, while generous overhangs frame views and create sheltered spaces to enjoy the garden.

At Gregory Phillips Architects, we consider architecture, interiors and landscape together, creating homes where the relationship between inside and outside is central to everyday life.

Six houses. Six different first impressions. These front views reveal the variety of homes we work on.

Our projects include contemporary new houses, period homes and substantial transformations. Each responds to its setting and the people who live there, with the same care for proportion, materials, landscape and detail.

We design remarkable new houses and transform existing homes.

A quiet presence from the street. A growing sense of drama within.

For this new family home in Totteridge, North London, we replaced an outdated 1970s house with contemporary architecture shaped by its gently sloping site.

Set into the landscape, the house reveals itself as you enter. Tiered planting gives the main living room a south-facing aspect while screening views of the road and driveway. Mature trees soften the entrance and provide seasonal shade.

Long-format natural brick and dark-stained timber bring warmth and texture to the precise geometry, while carefully angled brickwork catches the changing light.

Architecture and landscape designed together, for family life.

Beautiful homes. A better everyday life.
