A garden created in Hampshire some three years ago is thriving despite the hosepipe bans. Good aftercare and a healthy respect for soil and moisture 💦 leads to good plant 🪴 selection and planting techniques that build resilience. And it’s also looking amazing thanks to a customer who loves to garden! 🪏

As Wimbledon’s garden designers were often asked at this time if the year of we’re struggling with all the crowds going to the Wimbledon championships. Well no, not really!
The organisers are now so good at marshalling the crowds and deterring people from turning up by car that we whizz around the village and town without a care in the world.
We ❤️ the tennis here, you’ve never seen so many clubs including the shiny new AELTC community tennis in Motspur Park. So, can you believe it, but in 35 years of creating gardens all over Wimbledon we’ve never built a tennis court here!

110 years after the Battles of the Somme we remember the soldiers who lost their lives. Here is our contribution, a garden at the Thiepval Memorial in honour of the Welsh soldiers who were there, those that were injured and those who died. A seat that weaves its way through the woodland next to the memorial, that you’ll find by chance and have space to reflect on the enormous loss. Welsh primroses are sown on the surface.

On sunny days like this we all like a little shade. Here’s the Richard House garden we created with that sadly closed last year but we hope is still providing a home for wildlife as it re-natures.
