You’ve invested time, love, and budget into your garden. But what happens the day after the contractors pack up their tools?
Most people think creating a garden is a two-step process: hire a designer for a paper plan, then hire a landscaper to build it. But a garden isn't a kitchen extension. It’s not a static product you plug in and walk away from.
A garden is a living, breathing ecosystem. And the hardest, most critical phase begins the moment the planting is finished.
In the UK's shifting climate, from torrential wet winters to baking summer dry spells. new plants don't just need to be put in the ground. They need direction. They need a masterplan, a long-term timeline, and expert guidance form plant colonies that will help them adapt to weather extremes, and truly establish.
This is why I don't just design gardens. I am a Garden Maker.
When we work together, I handle the big picture: from initial design and overseeing the build, to hands-on planting. But my work doesn't end when the landscaping is done.
Through regular, seasonal direction visits, I guide your garden as it matures. We adjust the planting as it responds to microclimates, introduce new additions where needed, and steer the ecosystem through its fragile early years until it becomes self-sustaining and resilient.
You get to relax, enjoy watching your garden evolve, and take pride in a outdoor space that grows stronger every single year, with expert horticultural guidance every step of the way.
