Inside the mind of a creative icon. That’s what stepping in to Wes Anderson’s latest exhibition at the Design Museum feels like.

It’s a deep dive into some of his most acclaimed works and it’s a very tactile experience. You’re not just looking at finished scenes, you’re seeing the scaffolding behind them: scribbled notebooks, delicate models, slightly worn costumes.

Each section is so carefully tuned to the mood of its film and seeing how much control goes into every tiny detail of his films makes us appreciate the final output even more.

Our latest project, House of Britain for Matro, Suzhou, takes visitors on a journey through four distinct spaces that embody the spirit of Britain.

The Gallery, one four spaces, features a tongue-in-cheek reference to an iconic World Heritage Site and is connected to the first floor by a grand stairwell inspired by Vivienne Westwood and British punk culture.

‼️New project drop‼️

We created the interior design and brand experience for a new retail pavilion in Suzhou, exploring what Britain means today for an international audience.

Inspired by the contrasts that define contemporary Britain, refined yet irreverent, traditional yet progressive, understated yet expressive, the experience is built around a series of carefully balanced tensions.

The pavilion unfolds across four distinct environments: The Gallery, The Garden Room, The Vault and The Library. Each space offers a different perspective on British culture alongside a curated selection of UK brands.

We’re proud to see House of Britain open its doors in Suzhou and excited to see visitors experience it for themselves.

Stepping into feels less like entering a showroom and more like being welcomed into a story, one shaped by patience, craftsmanship, and a deep respect for materials.

Each piece is handmade from reclaimed wood in Indonesia, supporting local communities and helping revive traditional craft.

Caroline and Andrew guided us through the collection, sharing their story and process behind each piece with a warmth that goes far beyond simply choosing furniture.
