SBFinishing also provides you with a smooth highly polished mirrored Venetian plastered finish which comes in a wide range to colours and styles to suite every need weather it will be in a bathroom or kitchen which provides a bacteria resistant finish or in a front room or hallway giving you a feature which will complement your home. All Venetian plaster is guaranteed against mould and is ECO friendly which is another reason this method is preferred over tiling. This is becoming a very popular finish and is growing fast and the reason for this is the finishes are endless and to such a high quality. Originating in Italy, the art of Venetian marble is centuries old, Venetian polished plastering is a wall and ceiling finish using thin layers of plaster applied with a spatula or trowel which are then burnished to create a smooth surface with the illusion of depth and texture. All products are imported directly from Italy and are of the highest quality – meaning that the finish is not only beautiful but functional. A bit of an emergency job for a local family this week! 😬🔨

The ceiling in their child’s bedroom had collapsed, and to make matters worse, they had new fitted wardrobes being installed the following week — so they urgently needed the room made safe and the ceiling sorted beforehand.

We managed to get them booked in, repair the damage and get everything plastered and ready for the next stage in time for the wardrobes. 👌

When something like this happens in your home, especially in one of the kids’ bedrooms, the last thing you need is the stress of trying to find someone reliable who can get it sorted quickly and properly.

Another one transformed 🔨👌

Customer had new wardrobes to be put in and when removing the old ones discovered that the ceiling was very loose and this video shows how loose it was…don’t let your ceiling get to this condition.

Good preparation. Proper plastering. No shortcuts.
