Not every transformation needs to start with new materials...

This project involved carefully lifting the existing decking to upgrade the roof beneath with new high-performance insulation and a Sika waterproofing membrane.

Once complete, the original decking was expertly reinstated, preserving the terrace’s character while creating a stronger, longer-lasting foundation.

A recent roof terrace refurbishment in Notting Hill.

We removed the existing rotten timber decking before installing a new flat roof using a Sika Sarnafil single-ply roofing membrane. New composite decking was then laid on a subframe across both the upper roof and lower terrace, with new sliding doors installed to create seamless access between indoors and out.

A result that is durable, low-maintenance and built to be enjoyed for years to come.
