One property. Two floor constructions. One complete underfloor heating system.

This project in Chalfont St Giles, Buckinghamshire combined an existing home with a newly built extension, so the installation method needed to change across the property.

🔴 In the existing areas, we precision-milled approximately 85m² of screed, allowing the underfloor heating pipework to sit within the floor without creating structural build-up.

🔴 The new extension, including the utility, office and toilet, accounted for a further 25m². Here, we used a traditional clip-fixed system as part of the new floor construction.

✅ Both areas were connected into one complete wet underfloor heating system, designed around the different parts of the renovation.

And the full 110m² installation was completed in just two days.

That’s the benefit of planning the system around the property itself. Existing floors can be retained and milled, while new extension areas can use a more traditional installation method.

220m² of retrofit underfloor heating, installed beneath a future kitchen and bathroom showroom in 📍 North London!

👉 This commercial project took us to the new Trade Kitchens & Baths showroom on Rosebery Avenue, where we installed a complete wet underfloor heating system across 220m² of concrete subfloor.

With kitchen and bathroom displays eventually filling the space, the heating needed to do its job without taking up valuable wall space or restricting the showroom layout.

✅ Our team installed the system directly into the concrete floor, creating a low-profile hydronic heating solution that will provide comfortable, even warmth throughout the future showroom.

The project was delivered in collaboration with Heat Tec London, with both teams working closely to keep the installation coordinated and the wider programme moving smoothly.

Once complete, the space will become a modern showroom where the heating is felt rather than seen.

60m² of retrofit underfloor heating, completed in just one day in 📍 Shirley, Solihull!

👉 This project brought together two different floor constructions within the same property.

Around half of the area was existing screed, while the newer extension had a concrete subfloor. Our team precision milled both surfaces, allowing one complete wet underfloor heating system to run seamlessly across the original home and the new space.

✅ In the utility room, where milling was not the most suitable option, we installed a small clip fixed section instead.

Once the pipework had been installed and fully pressure tested, we sealed the milled channels using our adhesive retention system, leaving the floor secure and ready for its final finish.

⏱️ And the full 60m² installation was completed in just one day.

A great example of how the installation method can be adapted around different rooms and floor constructions without slowing down the wider renovation.

A few extra millimetres of floor height can become a very expensive problem. 💰

Traditional underfloor heating systems often add layers on top of the existing floor. And that can create a knock-on effect throughout the property.

Doors may need trimming.

Skirting boards may need adjusting.

Thresholds can become awkward.

Kitchen units and stair heights can suddenly need attention too.

But our retrofit system works differently.

👉 We precision mill channels directly into the existing screed or concrete floor, so the pipework sits within the floor itself rather than creating structural build-up on top.

✅ That helps preserve existing floor levels and can avoid a whole list of extra jobs that have nothing to do with the heating system itself.

Creating a warmer, more comfortable space for the next generation! 🚀

We recently joined the team at High Point Construction Ltd on their nursery project at Aldwickbury School, installing 80m² of channel-cut underfloor heating as part of the wider works. 🏗️

For a space that will be used every day by children and staff, consistent and comfortable heating throughout the room was an important part of the project.

👉 Our team precision-milled the system directly into the existing floor, allowing the underfloor heating to become part of the renovation without unnecessary floor build-up or major additional disruption.

160m² of retrofit underfloor heating, completed in 📍Hersham, Surrey.

This week, our team completed another large-scale retrofit installation — this time as part of a 160m² project in Hersham.

👉 Rather than removing the existing floor, we precision-milled channels directly into the screed before installing our 16mm pipework and completing a full pressure test.

✅ With professional dust extraction throughout the milling process, we were able to keep disruption to a minimum while preparing the property for a complete wet underfloor heating system.

For us, this is what retrofit is really about: working with the existing property wherever possible, rather than creating unnecessary demolition and additional work.

160m². Existing screed retained. 16mm pipework installed. System fully pressure tested.
