🌿 Inoculand Pest Control is Going Green! 🚲
Of late, more and more companies have been incorporating the use of cargo bikes, often for transporting light goods. This got me thinking: our vans are fully equipped to handle every job, but not every tool is used every day. So, we put our heads together and took a leap of faith.
By adapting the way we work and only loading the tools needed for the day, we’re hoping to make this new approach work. The money saved on congestion charges has been redirected into renting a dedicated storage space. Plus, this move will hopefully bring real benefits when it comes to navigating rush hour traffic and finding parking in central London.
Another exciting advantage of this change is the opportunity it creates for individuals without a driving licence. In the past, we’ve come across fantastic candidates who couldn’t drive and, unfortunately, had to overlook them. Now, with the VOK electric cargo bike, we can give our team members more flexibility and comfort. It allows for efficient travel while keeping them protected from London’s rain and cold.
I’m truly excited about this initiative and hopeful it will be a success. If all goes well, I’d love to replace more of our small diesel vans with zero-emissions cargo bikes. It’s a step forward for the environment, for our business, and for creating opportunities.
