A cleaning video with thousands of likes says one cloth for the whole house is the "professional" way to clean. I don't agree, and here's why 👆
Even one bedroom needs different products — glass cleaner for mirrors, a dust spray for wood, disinfectant for door handles and light switches. Using the same cloth on all of them doesn't clean your home, it just spreads whatever was on that door handle onto everything else.

10 things making your home feel messier than it actually is.
It's not always about dirt. Sometimes it's just stuff that's quietly building up until the whole place starts to feel chaotic.
Here's what I notice in most homes:
Expired food at the back of the cupboard nobody touches
Magazines and papers you were going to read
Kitchen gadgets you used once
Old chargers and cables for things you don't own anymore
Clothes you haven't worn in over a year
The odd sock drawer that never gets sorted
Bags. So many bags stuffed inside other bags.

Here's why I don't work from a checklist.
A standard bathroom cleaning list looks like this:
✅ Bath
✅ Shower
✅ Toilet
✅ Sink
✅ Mirror
That's what most cleaners see.
Here's what I actually do:
🧹 Bath — including the limescale around the taps and the grout between the tiles
🧹 Shower — including the mould building up in the corners
🧹 Toilet — including behind the toilet and the toilet brush holder that nobody ever cleans
🧹 Sink — including the grime built up around the plughole and the base of the taps
🧹 Mirror — including the toothpaste splashes and the frame
Same list. Completely different job.
That's the difference between a cleaner who ticks boxes and one who actually cares.
