We often design kitchens to capture outdoor views, and why wouldn’t you? Especially when you have a beautiful garden, countryside setting, or coastal outlook.

A well-designed kitchen should connect you to its surroundings, bringing in natural light, creating a sense of calm, and making everyday moments feel even better.

So how do you design a kitchen to maximise the view?

• Position sinks or food prep areas facing windows
• Place seating areas close to bi-fold, sliding, or crittall-style doors
• Frame focal points such as trees, courtyards, gardens, or the sea
• Incorporate window seats where possible
• Use large panes of glazing to maximise natural light
• Create uninterrupted flooring lines between indoors and outdoors
