What is an MEV system?

Mechanical Extract Ventilation draws air from multiple wet rooms such as bathrooms and kitchens, through a central fan system, and then pumps it out of the building.

This means moist air does not travel into the rest of the building where it can form condensation that would eventually lead to damp problems
