đź’ś At PRP, we understand that real change isn't always about the monumental; sometimes, it's the sum of countless small, conscious choices made daily that truly make a difference. Embedding social value means looking beyond the big projects and into our everyday operations.

This , as the campaign encourages generosity and collaboration for women's advancement, we're excited to share a step that illustrates this:

We're taking a simple, yet meaningful step by switching our studio coffee to a variety of blends from Mr Tinto Coffee Roasters. More than just an upgrade to our morning routine, this decision aligns our values with impactful action:
👉 Their "El Rosario" blend comes from a small women’s producer group in Colombia.
👉 Their model generates vital employment for single mothers in the region.
👉 They champion ethical sourcing, fair trade, and a low carbon footprint.

💜 March 8th is . To embody this year’s theme , PRP is proud to donate to Housing for Women – a vital housing provider and charity dedicated to empowering women and challenging inequality.

Housing for Women offers crucial support through affordable housing for women and children escaping domestic abuse, survivors of trafficking, women leaving prison, and older women. With over 920 homes across 11 London boroughs, they provide safety, dignity, and opportunity, ensuring women and their families gain access to stable, affordable social rent housing.

Women disproportionately face housing challenges due to lower average incomes, significant caring responsibilities, and a greater experience of domestic abuse and sexual violence. Despite a record high of women in work (around 7 in 10), women are still much more likely to be low paid, making it harder to afford London's rents and exacerbating the housing shortage for them.

In giving our support to HFW, who provide quality, affordable homes, we help build a more equal society where every woman can gain a safe place to thrive, and in return, society gains from their empowered contributions.

🏢 PRP is thrilled to announce the opening of our new Cardiff studio!

This expansion comes as Wales prepares for significant changes to building safety regulations and housing quality standards, impacting multi-occupancy residential buildings, hotels, student housing, and more.

Our Partner, Andrew Mellor, shares: "We've been working with the Welsh Government for several years on fire safety and building compliance, and with building owners to ensure their buildings are safe. Having a permanent base in Cardiff means that we can build on our current offer and better serve clients across Wales.”

PRP offers architecture, project management, building safety consultancy, principal designer, and construction quality inspections. Our comprehensive suite of services ensures that projects are safe, compliant, and resilient.

We're looking forward to working with new and existing partners to navigate the future of building safety and housing development in Wales.

🗣️ We look forward to welcoming Prof. Rama Gheerawo, expert in inclusive design, to our "Think Globally, Act Locally: Inclusive Living" workshop in Wrocław.

A prominent figure in the field, Rama is known for his innovative thinking and ability to inspire new perspectives. His work at the intersection of design, business, and social impact has significantly influenced how organisations approach inclusivity.

Prof. Gheerawo will be joining us as a guest during the workshop week and will deliver the keynote address at our Final Presentation event:

Our "Think Globally, Act Locally: Inclusive Living" workshop officially kicks off in Wrocław on Monday!

The excitement is building, and our selected students are in full preparation mode. Their digital welcome packs have been sent out, packed with everything they need to get ready for a week of intensive design and collaboration.

We can't wait to welcome them! We'll be sharing behind-the-scenes updates, insights from our mentors, and the incredible progress from our teams as they tackle the future of inclusive living.
