For this outstanding project, we designed and built a completely bespoke Iroko pergola that transforms the garden into a versatile, high-end outdoor living space.

Why Iroko?

Iroko is a premium hardwood renowned for its durability, stability, and resistance to the elements. Often compared to teak, it’s an excellent choice for outdoor living projects as it weathers beautifully while retaining its strength. Its warm tones also add a natural richness that elevates any exterior setting.

A Dual-Purpose Outdoor Haven

The design brief was to create a structure that would serve two functions seamlessly:

- Outdoor kitchen and entertaining area – The pergola canopy provides shelter over a purpose-built outdoor kitchen, creating the perfect space for cooking and dining al fresco.

- Concealed workshop – On the opposite side, we integrated a custom-built storage section housing a pull-out workbench made from Beech. Mounted on casters, this sturdy bench can be rolled out whenever needed.

In this Tunbridge Wells home, the client wanted to transform a loft bedroom into a functional and stylish storage haven. The challenge lay in the sloped rooflines, which required precise measuring and bespoke joinery to make the most of every inch. The brief was clear — maximise storage capacity without compromising on a clean, elegant look.

Design & BuildWe created a combination of full-height wardrobes, low-level cupboards, and drawers to suit the varying ceiling heights. Each unit was built to fit perfectly within the awkward angles, providing tailored storage for clothes, accessories, and other personal items. Internally, the wardrobes feature sturdy hanging rails and shelving, while the drawers offer easy access and generous capacity.

Finishes & DetailsThe furniture was finished in Farrow & Ball Salt, a crisp, fresh white that enhances natural light and gives the room an open, airy feel.
