Is your washing machine showing E20?

Today we visited a customer whose Zanussi stopped mid‑cycle and displayed E20.
The machine wasn’t draining and kept trying to pump water out without success.

What we did:

- Deep clean of the filter

- Full cleaning of the drainage chamber (the area where all the dirt collects before reaching the pump)

- Check of the drain hose and flow

- Final test to confirm proper drainage

The washing machine is now working perfectly again.

However, if the blockage returns, it may indicate an underlying issue with the drain pump or another internal component that would need further inspection.

❓ Have you ever had a “mysterious” leak that doesn’t show… until everything is already wet?

Today we attended a case where the client told us it was “mysterious” because she couldn’t see where the water was coming from.
In the end, we found the leak in the dishwasher valve, and water had been collecting inside the sink cabinet, completely hidden.

These silent leaks are the worst:

But they damage wood and create humidity without you noticing

☀️🔥 By popular demand… here’s the gazpacho recipe you all asked for
With this heatwave in London, many of our clients have been asking how we — the Spaniards — manage not to melt.
And of course, between leaks and rebellious radiators, the star question has been:

“Miguel, what do you eat that’s refreshing in this weather?” 😂

So, by popular demand, here it is.

For those who haven’t tried it: gazpacho is basically a cold tomato soup, super refreshing and perfect for hot days like the ones we’re having in London right now.

🥒🍅 “Miguel López Plumbing” Gazpacho (with apple)

1 apple

1 kg tomatoes

1 cucumber peeled (otherwise it turns bitter)

1 green pepper

1 apple

1 garlic clove

Olive oil

Vinegar

Salt

Cold water

Blend everything, adjust the water, chill it in the fridge… and done.
Perfect to cool down while Miguel makes sure your pipes aren’t suffering from the heat.

Final tip: serve it with ice, just like we do at home when the thermometer gets dramatic.

And if you want to make it extra delicious:
👉 add chopped hard‑boiled egg and Serrano ham on top — the classic Spanish way.
