For every branch felled, hedge trimmed or plant cut back, there’s always someone who has to clear up the aftermath.

And, for safety’s sake, it’s important to have someone keeping a close eye on their workmate too.

Which is exactly why Reece is such an essential member of the L&J team. Clearing, watching, assisting… never taking his eyes off Aaron.

Although, if we’re being completely truthful, we’re starting to get slightly concerned there might be an office romance developing here. 👀❤️😂

WASTE NOT, WANT NOT 🌱

Garden clearances can generate a serious amount of waste, but not all of it needs to be carted away.

Where possible, we can shred garden waste on site, particularly woody material, turning it into useful wood chippings that can be kept and put back into the garden as mulch later in the year.

It saves on disposal, reduces the amount of material being transported away and, best of all, puts something that might otherwise be considered waste straight back to good use in your garden.

A simple way to make garden maintenance that little bit more sustainable. 🌿♻️

July is showing off, and so are the gardens. Lush growth, vibrant flowers and long sunny days mean now's the perfect time to keep everything looking its best.

Water deeply rather than little and often, keep climbers and hedges in check, and deadhead summer blooms to encourage even more colour.

If you're mowing the lawn, keep the blades a little higher to help it cope with the dry weather.
