Take That Cardiff ✅
Another stadium show delivered, as the Take That’s Circus Tour 🎪 arrived at the Principality Stadium.
Our team were on hand to support the show, providing front of stage barrier operations, access control, and customer service throughout the event. As always, professionalism, energy, and a positive approach were at the forefront of our delivery, and it’s great to see our efforts continuing to resonate with fans, they made signs for Phil and Matt this time!
A huge thank you to everyone involved. Your desire to ensure people make memories and attention to detail once again ensured a safe, secure, and enjoyable experience for all those who watched the show! We couldn’t do it without you.

Another successful event delivered by SES Group ✅
Our team were proud to support the 🎻London Symphony Orchestra🎻 in Trafalgar Square, providing professional crowd control services across the site.
We were responsible for security searching, access control, managing crowd movement across the stairways, maintaining clear walkways, and ensuring a safe, enjoyable environment for all attendees.

Another memorable moment for the books as our team travelled to Sunderland to support a one-off Take That performance at the iconic Stadium of Light.
Once again, SES Group was trusted to deliver across key operational areas, including backstage, load in, production zones, and the front of stage barrier, ensuring the Circus Tour ran safely and seamlessly from start to finish.
And a new milestone for the team… the fans are even starting to make posters for us now!

🎾 Another standout moment from an incredibly busy weekend at the Lexus Birmingham Open 2026! 🎾
SES Group was proud to be on hand throughout all nine days of the tournament at Edgbaston Priory Club, ensuring everything ran seamlessly while delivering the highest standards of security and customer service. From managing entrance gates and access control to overseeing player areas, practice courts, close protection, and everything in between, our team played a key role in supporting a safe and successful event.
A special thank you to Haroon Mahmood and Matt Westwood for their leadership, and most importantly, to our outstanding staff on the ground, the real stars of the show, you make achievements like this possible.

🎤 Boyzone UK Stadium Tour 2026 ✅
Over the weekend, our team delivered crowd control and customer service at Emirates Stadium across two incredible nights for Boyzone.
Our staff were deployed across key areas including dressing rooms, front of stage barrier, production areas, and front of house, to ensure all those attending had a fun and safe time!

We’re proud to celebrate another well-deserved promotion within SES Group 🎉
Congratulations to Denzel McQueen-Thomas on his promotion to Event Manager.
Since joining us in 2019, Denzel has built an outstanding career through dedication, hard work, and continuous development. Starting as an SIA, he progressed through his supervisor qualifications before successfully completing his management training.
Throughout this journey, Denzel has played a key role in delivering some of our most high-profile operations, including major events at The O2 and leading teams at Wembley Stadium. His professionalism, leadership, and commitment to excellence have made a lasting impact across the business.
This promotion is thoroughly earned, and we’re excited to see what the future holds as he continues to grow within SES Group.

⭐ Congratulations to our monthly Reward and Recognition winner Zekriya Ahmed better known as Zak. ⭐
Zak was nominated while he was working at University Station on behalf of our fabulous client West Midland Trains.
A member of West Midlands Trains nominated Zak for the following:
"Zak demonstrated a highly professional and proactive approach... His quick response over the radio ensured critical information was communicated without delay. In particular, his decisive action in stopping the train using the correct safety procedures was commendable... he should be recognised for his professionalism, confidence, and adherence to procedure under pressure."
His supervisor then followed up with:
“During the incident involving an aggressive individual on the tracks, Zak’s adherence to operational protocols ensured that no staff or passengers were harmed. His ability to remain calm and decisive in a life-safety situation is a testament to his dedication to the role”.
Congratulations again Zak on receiving this well-deserved award!

Last week we had the opportunity to deliver one of the most complex events held at Outernet, as Huda Beauty took over the space for a high-profile activation.
Our team delivered exactly what we strive for at SES Group, exceptional customer service alongside a safe, well-managed environment where everyone could enjoy the experience.
What made this event particularly rewarding was the feedback we received post event, comments like:
“I am very pleased with the security team”
“This is one of the most professional teams I have worked with”
“Everyone is great, so friendly but they’re able to enforce what we asked for”
A special mention must go to Harry Lord for his hard work during the planning phase and Oniche Webb for the on the day delivery, both played a key role in the event ex*****on, as well as to every member of the team who contributed to making such a complex event run seamlessly.
Another great example of what can be achieved when strong planning meets an outstanding performance.

Birmingham Fun Run 2026 ✅
An excellent day across the city as our team successfully supported this year’s Birmingham Fun Run, deploying over 80 staff to ensure the event ran safely.
Our team were responsible for deploying road closures, response teams, detection dogs, and delivering effective crowd management throughout the route. The professionalism and coordination shown by our teams on the ground was, as always, outstanding.
A special thank you goes to everyone involved, particularly those who have now delivered their second marathon-scale event in just two weeks, a fantastic effort!
