Elevation drawings of the Reception House at Margravine Cemetery.

The Reception House is a significant building within one of the borough's most important public open spaces.

The building has sadly suffered over the years, but with planning and listed building consent granted, we look forward to seeing it look a little more like these drawings in the near future.

Openeight Architects have been granted planning and listed building consent for the restoration of three structures within Margravine Cemetery, Hammersmith, London.

Proposed works include the restoration of the Reception House, Constructed in 1850 in order to make better provision of the internment of the dead.

The Reception House is the only surviving example of a building of its type, making it significant on both a local and national level.

The new kitchen within our completed residential project in Westminster London.

Alterations within the property included opening up an existing wall, creating a new open-plan kitchen and living space.

The kitchen includes back painted glass cabinets and a Dekton work surface with breakfast bar. Lighting fixtures by Hadeland Glassverk.

Floorplan showing the new layout of Openeight's residential fit out project in Westminster London.

Following a lateral conversion of two properties, the apartment is arranged in two halves. Living, dining and kitchen spaces in one half, and bedrooms, bathrooms, dressing room and study located within the second half.

The new layout was created along with the installation of new flooring, internal joinery, windows and electrical and lighting layouts.

A large ground floor extension allows part of the existing property to be opened up, creating a large, bright, double height space containing kitchen, dining and living spaces.

A simple palette of materials is to be used throughout the property with matching timber kitchen, doors, windows and internal joinery.
