London based Interior Design Studio working on residential projects in London and Switzerland

13/10/2026

If you are new here, hello, I am Valentine.

I am a Swiss interior designer who has called London home for many years, creating thoughtful, beautiful homes in London and Switzerland for over 20 years.

I have always been fascinated by how we live and how the spaces around us shape our everyday lives. For me, a home is about more than how it looks; it's about how it feels, the people who live in it, and the memories made along the way.

I love the character of London homes, the understated elegance of Swiss design, and the magic that happens when different influences come together.

Beyond interiors, I'm passionate about food and cooking, discovering inspiring places, travelling and bringing people together around a table.

Here I'll share the things that Inspire me: interiors, beautiful details, food, places I discover and little glimpses of life along the way.

I am still curious, still learning and always looking for inspiration in unexpected places.

I am glad you are here.

I'd love to hear your story too. What brought you here?

Valentine xx

Celebrating 25 years of the Embassy's hidden gem - a vibrant ensemble of street art featuring works by Banksy, Chu, Roga and Snug, now also joined by Byer.

These works are truly unique and can't be found anywhere else in the world.

The embassy garage is covered in brightly coloured street art.

Around 50 works decorate its walls and pillars - 16 of them attributed to Banksy.

The evening reception was accompanied by some of Switzerland's finest apéro specialities.

Ambassador Paravicini: 'below the surface the swiss are secretly cool'😉

I felt very privileged to be part of this fantastic event, and it was particularly special to be back 25 years after attending the original inauguration.

Thank you Embassy of Switzerland in the United Kingdom.

A new project in the Swiss Alps.
A renovation in the making...

Some projects happen quickly.
Others need time to unfold.

This one is very much the latter.

We are currently at the early stages, gathering ideas and defining the overall space.

Thinking about how light will move through the rooms, where it needs to be functional, and where it can simply create atmosphere.

I am also exploring the materials, textures and details that will give the project it's character - while keeping a strong connection to its Alpine setting.

A little glimpse of what's to come.
I'll be sharing more as this Swiss Alps renovation takes shape.

Art does not just complete a space - it tells a story.

The right artwork transform interiors from beautiful to unforgettable. It adds personality, depth and emotion creating spaces that tell a story.

I love collaborating with Barth Contemporary for their specialist art consultancy, helping clients discover pieces that not only complement their interiors but also celebrate their indiduality and personal journey.
Together we curate artwork that transforms a house into a home and an interior into a story worth telling.

Tucked away in the Scottish Highlands, this beautifully designed cottage was a masterclass in understated elegance.

Natural materials, thoughtful details and breathtaking surroundings came together to create a space that felt both calming and inspiring.

Leaving with a camera roll full of photos and a head full of ideas.

You don't always need a full renovation to create a kitchen that feels elevated.

This kitchen was relatively simple and budget conscious, but choosing the right floor tile completely changed the atmosphere of the space.
A timeless tile adds depth, texture and that quiet 'expensive' feeling without needing custom cabinetry or a huge budget.

If you are renovating on a budget, invest where the eye naturally lingers - and never underestimate the power of a beautiful floor.

This chalet has seen generations - quiet winters, long conversations by the fire and the timeless rhythm of mountain life.

Today, a new chapter begins. Carefully restored and thoughtfully reimagined, the space now blends historic character with contemporary design - where aged timber meets clean lines, natural textures and modern comfort.

A home shaped by the past, designed for the present and made to be lived in for years to come.

Curious where interior designers really find their inspiration?

Every project I create is a collection of

Travel
Nature
Architecture
Exhibitions
Competition

It is found in the quiet rhythm of nature, the lines of a building, the atmosphere of an exhibition or a fleeting moment while travelling.

A well-designed home does not end at the door.

It extends outward - through materials, textures and considered pieces that bring the same sense of comfort and refinement outdoors.

If you would like to create an outdoor space as considered as your interiors, I would love to help you bring it together.
