A wonderful concept that nods to the gothic with stop chamfers and a circular cut through motif, that has been a joy to develop and materialise.

A beautiful dressing room project that really showcases the adaptability of the whole Lopen team.

Tabu veneer in a high gloss finish. Bespoke brushed brass, novasuede and faux shagreen all managed in house to deliver this exceptional space.

With the bespoke work we produce at Lopen, it’s always valuable getting as many heads around the table as early as possible. Project, technical, operations and workshop teams getting together at technical design phase to discuss the constructional intricacies of our next project.

As WOW!house 2025 enters its final week and after an extraordinary response both in person and from across the world online for the Kitchen - we’re delighted to share that all of the pieces are now available to buy!

As put it:
‘From a sustainability point of view, we wanted to create the least fitted kitchen possible, so that most elements are freestanding pieces that can find a home in other spaces once the show is over.’

With that in mind and as the space prepares to close its doors on Thursday — every piece in the room, each one beautifully handmade in our Somerset workshop, is now looking for its next chapter. That includes the now-famous Cook’s Table with its knapp-jointed cabinetry; the vast Kitchen Dresser (complete with integrated fridge and dishwasher); the handsome Drinks Cabinet and the much-loved Oak Shelves — to name just a few.

One of the much loved and discussed details in our WOW!house kitchen are the knapp jointed drawers on the cooks table.

Introduced in the Industrial Revolution, the knapp joint is the first known recording of mechanised production of drawer boxes. Saving time in comparison to the laborious hand cut dovetail alternative.

Introduced to the design by of , we were happy to champion these little delights.
