***Job Opportunity Full-Time Employed - Roofing Labourer/Semi-Skilled***

We are looking for a hardworking and reliable roofing labourer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have some knowledge of the roofing/construction industry. There is a potential to work alongside skilled pitched and flat roofers as well as carpenters on a wide range of projects, from small domestic jobs to listed buildings.

Requirements:
Valid CSCS Card.
Full UK driving license and transport to our yard.
The working day is 7am from our yard to approx. 4.30pm - five days a week.

What does 7am look like in the T C Garrett yard?
Usually it’s a hive of activity, teams loading materials and getting ready to head out to their various jobs for the day. But this morning looked a little different…Today we brought in some festive cheer with Christmas Jumper Day for Save the Children with some of our team joining in! Some turned up in jumpers… and some arrived in full Christmas outfits — all for a fantastic cause. 🎅

We’re proud to be carrying out the re-roofing with new Sandtoft clay tiles and the replacement of the UPVC roofline for Redenhall with Harleston Town Council, continuing to support their planned upgrades for residents and visitors.

All works are being completed safely and to a high standard — and we have to say, our new banners are definitely looking the part!

With T C Garrett’s in-house scaffolding department, we’re able to deliver a full, efficient service under one contractor.

***Carpenters Labourer*** - We are looking for a hardworking and reliable Carpentry Labourer to join our roofing team. The ideal candidate will have some knowledge of carpentry — particularly within the roofing industry — along with a keen eye for detail and a strong commitment to producing a high-quality finish.

You’ll be supporting skilled tradespeople on a wide range of projects, from small domestic jobs to listed buildings . Our timber works focus predominantly on all elements from wall plate and above, including:

Rebuilding and repairing traditional cut roofs
Installing new truss roofs on new build projects
Repairing roof members during re-roofing works
Installing roofline components in timber or PVCu

***Part 1 or Part 2 Scaffolder*** - We are looking for a skilled and reliable scaffolder to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for erecting, modifying, and dismantling scaffolding structures safely and efficiently. Works will vary from small domestic to large commercial projects. You will work closely with your team members and our scaffolding manager to ensure all scaffolding is installed in compliance with safety regulations and project requirements.

Requirements:

Valid CSCS / CISRS Card.
Full UK driving license and transport to our yard.

Although this job came about after an unfortunate incident at one of our local parish churches, we were grateful for the opportunity to help protect such a beautiful building from further damage.

Working alongside SRT scaffolding services and using two large machines from PPH Access Platform Hire, our MEWP-trained team safely made the roof temporarily watertight while full restoration works are planned.

T C Garrett Roofing Ltd are always ready for emergency callouts and specialist work beyond everyday roofing.
