I had the privilege of creating this bespoke privacy fence yesterday for a lovely lady who wanted to increase the height of the fence but not to block out all daylight.
Together, we decided that a bespoke trellis was the way to go as it also provided a professional and aesthetically pleasing look.
I have to admit I have to agree.

my host also made a very nice cup of tea 😊

Two very strong custom-made to order driveway gates.
Just under 4m across the entire spread, they were a privilege to make.
The 4x2 inch frame was channelled to enclose the TGV panel, adding extra strength in addition to the bracing.
Finally, the completed gates were treated with a top quality preservative in a colour requested by my customer.

It's good to say I've been busy and unable to make posts recently.
Here's one of the fences I've been enjoying build, a lovely picket fence, not something that's ordered very often, which made it a real pleasure to build.
The old rails and pickets were in a very sad condition, but the posts were in excellent condition. With a good coating of preservatives, a new gate, rails, and pickets, the old and new blended in nicely.

Custom-made 6ft featheredge panel, retaining the original concrete posts as requested.
I'm pleased to say the customer was very happy saying it made their garden look brightened and feel bigger.

Here's today's project for a lovely couple in New Ash Green today.
It shows how replacing just one old and rotten 3m close board panel and posts with a custom-made one can brighten a garden and make it feel more welcoming.

I was really pleased with this custom flush fitting arris rails shown in the 5th photo.

The last photo shows the support given to the lower rail by a short post made to prevent the panel from sagging under its own weight in the years to come. Something often overlooked.

All this was finished off with a discreet support wire to secure the rose bush, and some decorative pebbles were added to give it a lovely clean and bright finish.

I hope you agree it's a lovely transformation.
