🎨 A NEW PROJECT UNDERWAY… 👀 for the lovely Olive-Black Interiors

It’s been a little while since we’ve shared what I've been up to, so here’s a little sneak peek at his latest project.

This is a complete decoration of a small garden annexe, and because it’s newly plastered, I'm starting completely from scratch.

Lots of prep, plenty of dust sheets and a blank canvas ready for a transformation! 🖌️✨

There’s still a way to go, but we’re looking forward to seeing this one come together.

And while I'm busy getting this one underway…

Weekend Rescue ✨🎨

A little weekend transformation from HIRO Decorating…

This ceiling had been left looking tired after suffering water damage from a leak, so when the customer needed it brought back to life, Darren managed to squeeze the job in and worked over the weekend to get it looking fresh again. 💪🏼

A thorough preparation, a fresh coat of paint and plenty of attention to detail later… and what a difference! 🤍

There’s something very satisfying about seeing a room go from work in progress ➡️ fresh, clean and finished. ✨

Another job done, another happy customer, and another ceiling looking as good as new! 🖌️

If your home has been left looking a little worse for wear after a leak, repair or just general wear and tear, sometimes a fresh pair of eyes (and a good decorator!) can make all the difference.

It’s all in the preparation… 👀🎨

More progress from The Ship in Lerryn, where these beautiful old timber windows are getting a serious makeover.

There’s a lot more to restoring timber windows than simply reaching for the paintbrush! 🖌️

Stripping back years of old paint, repairing and preparing the timber, carefully working around all those intricate details and then building up a smooth, durable finish takes time — but the difference is worth it.

We’re loving watching these windows come back to life and seeing the character of the original building shine through again. 🪟✨

🪟✨ Another window brought back to life!

Now THIS is a transformation! 👏

The original timber windows at The Ship, Lerryn are getting some serious TLC, and we're loving seeing them come back to life.

Years of weathering had left the timber looking tired and worn, but with plenty of preparation, repairs and a lot of attention to detail, these beautiful original windows are getting the finish they deserve. 🎨🔨

☀️ Progress update from The Ship, Lerryn…

Some of you may have seen our recent post about restoring these original timber windows rather than replacing them.

Here's where we're up to!

It's been a labour of love, carefully removing rotten timber, treating the remaining wood and rebuilding damaged sections before moving on to the preparation work.

These beautiful original windows deserve to be preserved, and we're looking forward to showing you the finished transformation soon.

🪟 Restoring, not replacing.

Not every timber window needs replacing.
On this project, replacing the original frame wasn't an option, so we're doing everything we can to bring it back to life.
After carefully removing the rotten timber, treating the remaining wood and rebuilding the damaged sections, we're preserving the original character of the window while giving it a new lease of life.
It's a time-consuming process, but taking the time to repair quality timber is often a far better solution than replacing it altogether.

We can't wait to show you the finished result!

We're absolutely loving this colour from Coat Paints This is The Paint. on one of our latest projects.

Chosen by our customer from Olive Black Interiors it's transformed the room and works beautifully with the natural light and original features of the house.

🎨 Colour Change Friday!

Another room transformed this week for a lovely couple who wanted to brighten up their beautiful apartment.

As with every project, the finish starts long before the paint goes on.

Extra care was taken to fill and prepare the walls, particularly where a new kitchen and wall panels had recently been fitted, ensuring everything blended seamlessly before decorating.

The result is a fresh, brighter space that feels clean, modern and welcoming.
