Tidying work on the Anne of Cleves (Melton Mowbray) pub garden continues in the build up to re-opening. Once spring arrives we'll hopefully be able to see what we've got to work with, and what we need, plant wise. The new landlord and team are working tirelessly on the pub itself, to bring you some cheer in these difficult times.

Hello all, I hope you're keeping well. This year has proved to be a difficult time for many of us.
Myself included. 2020 kicked off with me being quite ill, and I'm sure I wasn't the only one. Getting that sorted took some time, and then along came the rain, and some more rain, and a little bit more rain. Then of course we had the outbreak of Covid-19. This meant not being around other people, especially those who were elderly or at risk with underlying health issues. Some of my clients have been tending their own patch whilst in confinement. Some out of boredom and some out of fear of Covid, either passing it on or contracting it, and I'm sure it was the right thing to do. Whilst I have been able to carry on, albeit at reduced capacity, I know that I have not gotten round to everyone yet. The latest delay was due to waiting on a new lawnmower, after mine gave up the ghost. After nearly two weeks, and two new mowers later, I am able to resume at full tilt. I apologise for any inconvenience this had caused. If any of my clients need me please do not hesitate to get in touch. All social distancing must be maintained at all times. Stay safe.

Mark.

A look back at some gardening from 2019

21/10/2019

Hello everyone.

Seeing as how I started this business back in April, I thought maybe I should create some sort of business page to go with it. So, here I am, doing just that.

After walking out of my last 'proper' job, I decided that the only way forward was to work for myself, doing something I enjoy.
Seeing as playing golf, watching football, listening to music or generally lazing about, aren't considered as work, I decided on doing a bit of gardening to earn a crust. I have to say that it has gone remarkably well so far, and I'm hoping it can continue so.

I will be adding stuff to this page over the coming weeks, photos of projects done, or doing, mainly. As my business title suggests, I am not trying to take over from the likes of Alan Titchmarsh, Monty Don, or the like, and I am not a landscape gardener. It is generally just a friendly, local garden maintenance service, aimed at doing the small jobs that the bigger boys aren't really interested in.

I would like to take this opportunity, to thank all you lovely people who have either used my services, lent/offered/given me equipment, recommended me to others, or just been generally supportive. I genuinely appreciate it.

If you want to get in touch or need further information, please use this email address. [email protected]

Thank you. Mark.
