Charlotte Meadows Gardener I am a Loughton mum and Capel Manor qualified gardener with 9 years experience My gardening business is now in its ninth year. I work in London and Essex.

Hi I’m Charlotte Meadows and I am passionate about plants, garden design and delivering great and affordable results for my customers. I’ve always had a strong visual sense and came to gardening through studying Photography and Digital Imaging at Reading College. After graduating I worked for seven years as a photography assistant in the food and hospitality industry. I suppose horticulture is in

my blood – my family have run flower nurseries for several generations – which is why I decided to build on my design background and study Garden Design at Capel Manor. My strengths are a use of clean lines to contrast against soft borders and using plants to create drama in the garden.

A new planting scheme was created for the raised boxes, using a beautiful palette of blues, purples and pinks. 🌿💜💙🩷

I also incorporated ornamental grasses to add movement, texture and softness to the planting, creating a scheme that will change and evolve beautifully throughout the seasons.

I’m really looking forward to seeing the planting next year, when everything has had more time to establish and mature. 🌱✨
