Removed a kitchen kick-board to inspect for mouse activity and entry points, this little one caught me by surprise… 🐭

A mouse issue in a basement kitchen, in a property over in north London. After finding no visible entry points underneath any of the units, we then removed the oven and look what we found!

The entry point was then filled and sealed over to prevent any further rodent access.

An intensive treatment for mice was carried out after an ongoing mouse issue in this property. High levels of activity were found underneath the kitchen unit through droppings, markings and also 2 entry points that had evidence of gnawing.

Both entry points were filled in with steel wool and then proofed over using expanding foam for extra protection.

All droppings were then removed and the area was disinfected.

The customer has not since had any further problems!

Didn’t have to look too hard to find this entry point! Mouse droppings found underneath the bath tub and scratching noises in the wall between the bathroom and kitchen as well as few sightings that the customer reported in the same area. 🐭

Look at the size of this hole inside a kitchen! 🕳️

This customer had an ongoing mouse issues for 6 months and after having several companies out to try and resolve the problem, we found this hole after removing a back panel inside one of the kitchen units. 🐭
