Showa A KIT kashima coated upper tubes fitted today to some Honda CRF forks.
The std original tubes had been poorly anodised and not had the inner blanked off resulting in the original hard anodising being removed and and replaced with decorative black anodising. Which then wore out quickly down to bare aluminium.
If you get tubes anodised do your research and make sure the company you use does them correctly.
Not only does it wear off, the bushing tolerances will be incorrect resulting in a poorly performing fork.
