We are so excited to see this, we have been providing the carpentry on Norwich Castle Museum with Morgan Sindall for the last 4 years. Such amazing work by everyone.

🎥Exciting news! Over the last 8 years, documentary makers Eye Film have been given exclusive behind-the-scenes access to the Royal Palace Reborn project...

We can now reveal that ‘The Castle. Rebuilding History’ will be airing on Channel 4 after the Norman Keep opens to visitors again later this year.

And - huge deal - the film will be narrated by none other than project patron Sir Stephen Fry!

We are so pleased that we can share this news on The National Lottery Heritage Fund 's Day, as it is thanks to National Lottery players that our major redevelopment project has been made possible.

Eye Film has captured the restoration process, working alongside project curator Dr Tim Pestell, Fielden + Mawson architect Erin Davidson, Conisbee Structural Engineer Tim Lefever and main contractor Morgan Sindall Construction.

The Grade I listed Keep is set to reopen in spring 2025 and will transport visitors back to Norman England. The work has been supported by a £13 million grant from National Lottery players through The National Lottery Heritage Fund – making it one of the most significant heritage projects in the UK.

What a project it has been, to be involved with. We are so proud to provide the carpentry on this project over the last few years. We are currently laying the oak engineered flooring, well done to all involved for all the hard work so far.
