Oil based gloss was used on 99% of all jobs 30+ years ago when I first picked up a brush..
Even though it’s different now to how it used to be, you still get a far superior gloss finish with oil based gloss.. of course.. only if do your preparation correctly!
Enjoyed doing this old front door a few weeks back.
