1 liner and 3 big reasons it had to be removed, unfortunately for the customer the original job they asked us to carry out has now become an awful lot more, because the previous install was badly done and made this liner potentially dangerous

Well what a week that was 3 installs, 2 chimneys repaired and flaunched and 2 chimneys that have had old liners removed cleaned through, new liners put in Chimney pots put on and flaunched and 2 hearths put down ready for delivery of fires to be installed at a later date. All in all a full on few days. For 2 of these jobs we now hand the reigns to Abode Plastering to come and finish off as both customers are renovating the rooms.

Another install completed, this one involved the rebuilding of the top of chimney as water damage had badly effected it, using reclaimed bricks and chimney pot to keep an authentic rustic look and also to keep in character with the property which was paramount for the customer. The customer wanted to keep as much of the original flu pipe which we were happy to do, a replacement liner was required and to help with the cold chimney we used the chimwrap system to wrap and insulate it all supplied from Specflue add to that a new closure plate as the original one didn’t meet regulations, a full clean and re spray of pipe work and fire gave the customer a brand new fire 🔥. We always try and work along with our customers as much as we can, after all it’s there fire their house. All in all a successful few days
