This is not a post we like having to make, but with the change in the weather, Mark has been completely inundated with emergencies and has been under ALOT of pressure trying to sort you all out.
We have taken bookings lately from new customers (Mark doesn’t like letting anyone down as you all know) and have turned up to jobs where they have got someone else, or not been in as advised without no communication prior. This completely wastes Marks time, and as a self employed individual, driving to a job to complete work where the customer has not cancelled means Mark doesn’t get paid.
We understand that sometimes if Mark can’t get to you quick enough that you may want to get sorted else where quicker. But PLEASE have the decency to reach out and cancel. I monitor this page closely, 10 seconds to send a message is all it takes.
From now on, any NEW customers requiring emergency work to be completed will require a call out fee to be paid in advance. This call out fee is also applicable if Mark has turned up and you have not cancelled. When work is completed this call out fee will come off your overall bill.
This time of year is always extremely busy and Mark is trying to sort everyone as quickly as possible. If you need to cancel no problem, just please give us notice to allow us to get someone else slotted in.
