UPDATE!!! ⭐️

It’s been a while since we updated our ongoing extensions. Here is an extension currently ongoing in Harpenden at the moment and as you can seewe are well underway!!

Groundwork’s fully completed and signed off ✅
All new drainage installed in clay as existing ✅
Blockwork up to roof height completed ✅
Roof fully finished and installed with welded rubber ✅
Windows and doors ordered ✅
Goal post steels installed!! Was a job on itself! ✅
Insulated screed floor installed ✅
Electrics and plumbing installed ready for second fix ✅
All plastered and mist coated ✅

We are now awaiting the client to choose flooring and kitchen of their choice. we are hoping to be completed in the next 4 weeks!!

Roof windows on the way along with a cortizo bifolding door and a black flush window.

Really excited to show you the final result here as we know there will be no expense spared here to achieve the best final finish!! All works completed and passed off by building control as always 👌🏼

Apologies all that we haven’t posted in a little while! It’s been a hectic couple of months as always!!

Here’s a little porch we managed to get pushed forward for a client in Caddington! This space has made such a difference and we are all extremely happy with the finish!

Who loves the archway!!!??? I feel they are coming back into fashion and we are hoping we get to do some more ⭐️

Oversite dug down and concreted ✅
Existing door removed and wall taken out ✅
Electrics installed and new radiator pipes ✅
New front door installed! Stunning looking colour ✅
Screed floor installed to bring up to the same level ✅
Plastering and painting through out ✅
A complete finish ready for the client to get some tiles down and installed! ✅

Clients are happy, builders are happy, we are all happy! Another quick effective and space saving build.

Our Milton Keynes extension and refurb project has really come along way! ⭐️

Windows and doors are due to be fitted this week, along with the kitchen and flooring being delivered!

Everything is now plastered and ready to go..

Project completed here in Caddington!!!

We recently completed a stylish garage conversion, a full bathroom refurbishment, and transformed a tired, unused spare room into a bright new garden room. This project included creating a rear knock-through to install new French doors, bringing in plenty of natural light and opening up a fantastic new living space. ☀️

Full garage conversion completed and all passed off by building control ✅
New boiler with radiators throughout the house, full new electrics to the new areas ✅
New bathroom refurb ✅
Garden room completed with a knocktgrough and French doors ✅
Full painted finish to completion ✅

New project alert!!!‼️

New project just started here in Harpenden!

Here we have a proposed single storey rear extension to add on to this lovely mid terraced home in Harpenden. We have demolished the existing outbuildings to get ready for a full new single Storey extension to be built!!

Full new kitchen and downstairs refurb. ✅
New w/c built downstairs. ✅
Full landscaping inclusive of a new patio to the rear.

A complete steel knocktgrough creating a full open plan area. ✅
Jon completed to the highest of standards and a full painted finish down to the last sq**rt of silicone!! ✅

Already been here 8 days and we have managed to remove the outbuildings, have the foundations dug and poured, soak away and drainage are under way, and look to have it up to dpc level this Friday!! All passed of by building control as always! ⭐️

New project alert!!!🔔

Started a new single Storey rear extension here in Newport pagnel! This project started a little over 3 weeks ago and already we have broken through the main structure!!!

Here we have the pleasure to build a single Storey rear extension, a complete knock-through from the existing rear wall to the new. Extend the kitchen and create an open plan kitchen diner. A garage conversion to take the new utility and downstairs W/C with also the rear garden to be refurbed!! ⭐️

Site set up and driveway boarded ✅
Opening made from the existing kitchen to the garage ✅
Foundations dug poured and concreted ✅
Brickwork completed and built to roof height ✅
Roof pitched, EPDM rubber installed along with facia and soffits. Now awaiting roof window ✅
Overstite prepared and concreted ✅
Drainage completed ✅
Bifolding sliding door measured and ordered to size ✅

Next week we will look to take the rear wall out, install the new beams and have first fix electrics and plumbing take place ready for plastering!!

Project alert!!!! ‼️

Just a little over 3 weeks ago we started a garage conversion, a refurb of a rear Dining room into a garden room, and a new bathroom.

Everything is coming along nicely! We have created a knock through to the rear room and have had French doors fitted letting a huge amount of light in. The room has been plastered new electrics and painted.

Garage conversion is coming along a treat, brickwork is complete and awaiting window installation tomorrow. Walls have been studded insulated and boarded. It’s all plastered and screeded!!

Bathroom has been ripped out and transformed, looking for full completion next week. Full boiler change and 8 radiators replaced.

Client is over the moon and all been passed off by building control so far!! Looking forward to showing you all the final product! ⭐️

January updates!!!

More January projects completed here!!

Here we had an existing unused bathroom to be made into a new office space and a bedroom looking for a fresh update and refurbishment!

We stripped the bathroom out, capping off all existing pipe work and waste, removing all existing tiles and scrapped the walls back. Complete new plaster boarded walls, new electrics and flooring including a full painted finish to create a new office space for the client to now enjoy in peace! 💻

The bedroom was fully gutted out, new electric chased into the walls, full re-plaster and a complete painted finish. New flooring and skirting boards throughout including 3 new doors and handles fitted.

Another January job wrapped up and another client left very happy!!! ⭐️

January updates!!!! ⭐️

Been a very busy January so far!! This is just one of the projects incoming of to what’s been happening over the last 4/5 weeks 🙂

Here we have converted this tired looking bathroom into a much more inviting walk in shower room! All materials waste removel and labour was included in this cost saving the client the trouble of having to drive around and have the stress of dealing with choosing and managing their shower room. At RB builders we take care of it all!! ⭐️
