This was one of my favourite ever projects: A large chest made to accommodate numerous upcycled parts from pieces of junk furniture. There are elements made from an antique tea chest, some Victorian type-setter's blocks and a vintage French wine crate amongst many other things. Creating a design that somehow fitted all its disparate parts in a harmonious way was very rewarding and it was also one of the most technically challenging projects to build.

Here is a pair of wonderful Shaker style wardrobes I built to make use of the alcoves in this lovely calm bedroom. Both sides are fitted with six bespoke "linen press" drawers hand made in oak.
