Lyndhurst and landscaping & Maintenance is based is the New Forest (Hampshire) and has built an enviable reputation based on high standards over 30 years. We are looking for a highly motivated individual with a keen eye for detail, a strong work ethic with good communication skills and a personable manner to fill the vacancy for our lead, hard landscaper.
The successful applicant must have a minimum of 3 years experience in all areas of hard landscaping and be able to run and lead a small team of staff to deliver quality work, at a commercial rate, effectively and efficiently within desired time frames and to high standards.
The job requires your full commitment, you must be fully fit, be willing to work in all conditions and hold a full UK driving license. You will ideally be based within a 30 mile radius of Lymington and able to work between the hours of 7.30am and 4.30pm with an ability (if required), to work overtime in order to complete work on time and to schedule.
Your skill set will include the following areas of work -
- The ability to read and interpret plans
- Setting-out and ground works (plant operations an advantage)
- Drainage
- Laying of all types of paving (patios, paths, driveways)
- Basic brick work skills
- Fencing and timber structures, including decking
- Turf and Artificial grass installation
You will be liaising with clients, overseeing on-site staff, maintaining risk management and PPE on-site, problem solving and reporting to Management.
The job affords you a very competitive wage to the right applicant (subject to experience), with 28 days per annum holiday (including Bank Holidays), a work place pension scheme, free PPE and safety boots as well as company logo polo shirts.
