Today I had another ‘Annual Assessment Day’ to remain on the NICEIC Approved Contractor Scheme…

It’s never pleasant, I describe it as like a driving test that lasts all day, but it’s part of what we professional electricians need to do to ensure that standards remain high.

My work, and the way I do it, was all good, but I ‘dropped the ball’ with the way I record my ‘CPD’ - Continuous Professional Development…

So, now I just need to better document all of the reading / learning / asking that I do, in order to evidence that fact that I’m actually doing it.

Not a big ask really, and I’m kinda glad that these things get identified as part of a ‘quality control’ exercise, rather than me starting to get complacent in my old age!
