Cheshire Ground Control Ltd was delighted to be asked to install another Padel Court at the Hook Club at a prestigious Hotel and Spa, Ground Control was the primary contractor which installed the previous 3 courts transforming an old piece of waste ground to a luxury sports complex.

This week GC pushed on with an ongoing project in Hale. 50 meters of Venetian fencing has been installed along with 40sq m of York stone paving layed in rows as specified by the client.

The prep work was completed in dec last year as GC has been contracted to carry out a full site strip, footings for a rear extension, excavated and poured, a full new drainage system and a full re design of the rear garden and driveway.

Phase 1 of a 2 phase project and the first one for 2026 for Cheshire Ground Control Ltd.

Scope of works was to provide a parking area and privacy on a property in Gawsworth receiving full refurbishment.

*Reduced excavation removing 140 ton waste
*60 ton MOT sub base installed
*25 lin m of feather edge fencing utilising steel dura style posts.

Next phase requires internal feather edge boarding, and a full landscape design consisting of edgings for the car parking area, surfacing planting, paving and raised flower beds.

Happy New Year from Cheshire Ground Control Ltd and thanks to all customers old and new for your continued support it’s greatly appreciated.

This year has been fantastic with over 80 + jobs/projects completed from full groundwork packages for developers to domestic landscaping design.

To keep up with customer demand we have had to expand the fleet and looking to expand the work force. GC are looking for one possibly two labourers/semi skilled Groundworkers who can get up in a morning and keen to work please PM with interest.

Cheshire Ground Contol has just completed this lovely retaining wall in Langley. This wall is an maintainace free alternative to brick and block and is the Grand ledge interlocking system is provided by Wot Block. 260 ton excavated and 100 ton of MOT installed to build the road up for phase 2 of the project. Big shout out to Higson Grab Hire and Pivitol Plant for excellent service allowing GC to complete the project in only 6 days.
