Liners sometimes need to be removed if you are having a new stove fitted or they are damaged. I can make sure liners are removed safely and with minimal mess. Here are couple of chimney liners I have removed for clients recently! 😁 I also do pre-installation sweeps to prepare for your new stove to be fitted.

It's more tricky to capture videos of bird rescues than the birds themselves, but one of my customers managed to snap this! 🐦🦅🐧 I have rescued five feathered friends in the past few weeks, all of which had managed to get themselves stuck down chimneys.

The best way to prevent this happening is to get a cowl fitted to stop them entering (and making nests).

Summer is here! 🌞 BBQs and fire pits are heating up your evenings in the garden. It's finally getting a bit warmer (ish) in the evenings and you've stopped using your fire or stove.

- Smoke Test - Performed after each sweep this is to test that your chimney is drawing correctly, the air controls on your stove are working and helps locate any repairs needed to pointing or brickwork on the chimney stack.

- Certificate - To validate your home insurance. (Any solid fuel appliance must be swept every year). It also validates the warranty on your stove and or steel liner if you have one.

- Advice - This is so you get the most out of your appliance from best burning practices, how to get more heat from your stove, pointing out any faults and how to remedy them.
