This four-storey Victorian property had been painted over, concealing much of the original brickwork and architectural character that made the building special.
Following a detailed survey, Cheshire Pointing carried out a full restoration programme which included:
✓ Removal of existing paint coatings
✓ Refurbishment of over 280 damaged bricks
✓ Full repointing throughout
✓ Restoration of original brickwork details
✓ Careful finishing to preserve the building’s character
Projects like this require far more than simply replacing mortar.
Every stage must be approached carefully to ensure the original brickwork is preserved and the building can continue performing as intended for decades to come.
The difference is remarkable.
A property that had lost much of its original identity has now been fully restored, revealing the Victorian craftsmanship that had been hidden for years.
