!!!General farm worker wanted!!!

Due to business expansion and one member heading back to uni we are looking for someone to join our team on the dairy side of the business, just outside of Holmes chapel. Whether it be full time or part time.

We are currently milking 170 cows through a 12-24 swingover parlour, with the aim to use technology and automation to improve efficiency and work environment in the future.

The job with involve all aspects of the dairy side of the business, meaning there’s is plenty of chance to gain responsibilities.

The ideal applicant should be able to work well as a team and have good communication skill. Experience working with cows a bonus, but attitude and enthusiasm is more important as training will be provided.

Robertson and Partners are looking for a new full time general farm worker (mainly to be working on the contracting side of the business). Hours include Monday to Friday, plus additional weekends when busy in the summer. Long hours will be expected in busy periods, but we are happy to be flexible with time off in return.

A successful candidate would need to be able to work independently as well as part of a team.

Some services that the business offer are:
- Grass and maize silaging
- Umbilical pumping
- Slurry and muck spreading
- Hedge cutting
- Cultivation
- Maintenance and general workshop work

Experience in these services is a bonus, but attitude and enthusiasm is more important, as training will be provided.

There will also be opportunities to work on the dairy side of the business.
A full uk driving license is essential and unfortunately no accommodation can be provided.
